About the Artist

About the Artist:

My name is Marianne (Lauterbach) Kalinoski, born Baton Rouge, Louisiana and spent a good portion of my weekends growing up in New Orleans with family. I currently live in Huntington, West Virginia but make regular trips home to New Orleans as often as possible. My other love is Dance, tap & jazz, ballet, ballroom, whatever life can throw my way I'm willing to give it a try.

The Inspiration for My Artwork:

Having grown up in southern Louisiana, that is where my heart is. It comes out in the pieces I create and hopefully brings a little jazz to your home as well.

How I Create My Artwork:

I use any type of jewelry I can find vintage pieces to more recent, rhinestone to pearls. Earrings, necklaces, bracelets, rings and everything in between. Some folks have pieces of their own they have wanted to incorporate as a way to showcase some family pieces, so I can create an art piece of your own jewelry or a mix of yours and mine.
